ChatGPT Ads is now available in seven more markets: Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Taiwan. This was announced in an OpenAI newsletter to advertisers, published by Search Engine Roundtable on September 30.

The dashboard now features bulk uploading of product campaigns and ad groups from a spreadsheet, with automatic ad template creation. In the Products section, you can now track product reviews and reasons for rejection.

Through the Insights API, advertisers can access conversion data for actions that are not set as the campaign goal. For example, you can monitor purchases while optimizing for a different event.

What to consider before launching

If you optimize your campaign for an intermediate action, additional statistics will help you check whether the attracted users complete a purchase. You won’t need to change your optimization goal for this analysis. However, purchase events must be sent to the ad system—they won’t appear in the report automatically.

Another nuance concerns account setup. Now, the internal account name, public brand, and legal entity name are edited separately. Changing the brand pauses ads until approval, while changing the legal name triggers a business re-verification. It’s best to finalize this information before launching campaigns.
