The Google Ads dashboard has started rolling out a Translation tool that helps translate campaigns into other languages using AI. Advertisers have noticed the new section, and on October 22, Search Engine Roundtable reported on it. In Google’s help center, the feature is marked as beta.
The service translates ad copy, sitelinks, and keywords. For landing pages, there are two options: automatic translation via a code installed on the site, or redirecting to pre-prepared language versions.
The original campaign must be in US English. It can be adapted for Spanish-speaking audiences in Spain and Latin America, Portuguese speakers in Brazil and Portugal, as well as several other European languages. The result is saved as a separate campaign, with budgets and bids transferred unchanged. The tool does not recalculate currencies.

What to check before launch
Check your budgets and bids: the tool transfers them from the original campaign without changes.
And remember about keywords: a correct translation doesn’t guarantee that users in the new GEO search for the product that way. The local audience may use different names, colloquial phrases, or specific terms. Before launch, compare the translated keywords with real queries in your target market.
